Ranveer Singh has been under fire for over a month over his nude photoshoot for a fashion magazine. The actor, who was summoned by the Mumbai police after a case was filed against him, appeared at the Chembur police station on Monday and recorded his statement in the matter. He reached around 7am and was grilled for over two hours.

As per the reports in ETimes, Ranveer Singh in his statement mentioned that the nude photos were not uploaded by him. Also, it was ignorant of him to not realise that these pictures will create problems for him.

An FIR was registered against the actor at Chembur police station last month on the basis of a complaint filed by an office-bearer of a non-governmental organization (NGO). He was summoned by the Mumbai police last week for the same, but he had written to the authorities, seeking time, since he was busy with his other professional commitments.

Several other First Information Reports were lodged against the ‘Simmba’ actor for allegedly destroying the ‘culture’.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’. The actor will be seen next in Karan Johar's directorial, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ co-starring Alia Bhatt.
