Akshay Kumar starrer 'OMG 2' seems to have landed in trouble.
The movie has reportedly been sent to the Censor Board's revising committee to ensure the dialogues and scenes do not create any issue.
Sources told India Today that the Censor Board is taking 'preemptive measures' to ensure that backlash like what Om Raut's 'Adipurush' faced over it's dialogues is not repeated.
The source added that the Censor Board will now send any movie dealing with the subject of God or religion for review.
There is no clarity about what scenes or dialogues in 'Oh My God 2' caused concern to the censor board.
'OMG 2', directed by Amit Rai, stars Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva. The movie will also feature Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi and Arun Govil of Ramayan fame in pivotal roles.
'OMG 2' will release in theatres on August 11. The satirical comedy drama is a sequel to the 2012 hit film 'OMG- Oh My God!'
It will clash at the box office with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer 'Gadar 2'.
