Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film ‘Pathaan’ has taken the box office by storm. The Siddharth Anand directorial, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, has minted over Rs 200 crores at the worldwide box office in just two days.
Confirming the same, trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, ‘#Pathaan crosses ₹ 235 Crs Gross at the WW Box office in 2 days..’
At the domestic box office, the spy thriller has reportedly earned around Rs 70 crore on its second day. ‘Pathaan’ banked on the Republic Day holiday and it has paid off positively. The film had set a new single-day record on its first day with a domestic net collection of Rs 57 crore.
‘Pathaan’, directed by Siddharth Anand, also stars John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana. The film, which is the fourth installment in YRF’s spy universe, also has Salman Khan’s cameo. It released in theatres on January 25.
