'Pathaan' was released in theaters on Wednesday and it received a huge response on it's opening day. SRK's comeback film is pulling a massive crowd to the cinema halls and to meet the public demand, Yash Raj Films has now added a post-midnight, 12.30am show, across the country.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on social media.
Besides this, 300 screens were added by distributors to meet the demand. The total screen count is now 8,000 screens worldwide.
'PATHAAN’ MIDNIGHT SHOWS BEGIN… #YRF adds late night shows of #Pathaan - starting tonight [from 12.30 am] - across #India to meet the unprecedented public demand,' he wrote on social media.
The Siddharth Anand directorial marks Shah Rukh Khan's return to a full-length film. It also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles.
Massive celebrations among fans were held across India on the day of its release. Videos of the audience whistling, dancing and singing in single screen theatres and multiplexes, packed with crowds, have also surfaced online.
