The teaser of Ishaan Khatter’s ' Pippa' has finally been released. The teaser opens with the voice of then-Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declaring war against Pakistan and depicts how the 1971 war led to the birth of a new nation, Bangladesh. Ishaan Khatter looks impressive as a young brigadier.
Sharing the teaser on social media Ishan Khatter wrote, ‘On the momentous occasion of our country’s Independence Day - presenting a glimpse from a film we’ve collectively put our heart, gut and soul into. Backed by producers Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film is directed by Raja Krishna Menon.
It also stars Mrunal Thakur, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan in pivital roles. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on December 2, 2022.
