Prabhas’ starrer ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ completes 7 years, his body trainer reveals actor's diet plan

S S Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali: The Beginning' released on July 10, 2015, and went on to break past records at the box office as well as create new ones.  Prabhas, who starred in the lead role, impressed everyone with his body transformation. Seeing Prabhas' dedication, the makers of the film gifted him gym equipment worth Rs 1.5 crore. Professional bodybuilder Laxman Reddy closely monitored the actor's diet and workout regime. 

He revealed that Prabhas would have six meals comprising egg whites, chicken, nuts, almonds, fish, and vegetables. He added that even though Prabhas would be tired after shooting hard-core stunts, he would never miss his workouts. So much so that he would even start exercising at midnight!

The transformation of Prabhas was purely a result of hard work, dedication, and sincerity. His diet plan consisted of fish, egg whites, vegetables, and almonds with the exclusion of rice. Prabhas' total calorie intake while shooting ranged between 2000 to 4000 calories a day! 

On the work front, Prabhas will be seen in ‘Salaar’. Reports state that this film will see him in a double role. The film also stars Shruti Haasan and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles.
