The American animated satire series ‘South Park’ mocked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in the second episode, titled ‘The Worldwide Privacy Tour’, of its 26th season. Without specifically naming them, the episode mocked the couple's demands of wanting privacy. The characters are a red-headed prince and his wife, who are seen promoting the prince’s new book, titled 'Waaagh', bearing an uncanny resemblance to the controversial memoir of Prince Harry, titled 'Spare.'

The clips from the episode have gone viral on social media.

On ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’, American journalist and media personality Megyn Kelly commented on the topic and said, ‘I feel this is a pronouncement that they have jumped the shark, they are not beloved and her hopes of running for president, reported hopes, are all but dashed.’

According to a report by The Spectator, Prince Harry and Meghan were ‘upset and overwhelmed’ by the episode and it was speculated that they will be taking a legal action on the makers of the show. However, the spokesperson of Duke and Duchess of Sussex has now issued a statement, confirming that no legal action will be taken. He called the reports ‘baseless and boring’.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot on May 19, 2018. They have two children -- Archie and Lilibet. The couple stepped down as working royals in January 2020 and later settled in California, US.
