Priyanka Chopra Jonas confirms she'll not be attending Met Gala 2024; here's why

Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her startling Met Gala debut in 2017. Alongside her now-husband Nick Jonas, the Indian-American actor made quite a stir on the red carpet in a Louis Vuitton ensemble. Ever since then, the Desi Girl has made numerous appearances at the gala, igniting a fan frenzy every time. Priyanka Chopra to skip Met Gala 2024

Priyanka Chopra will not be attending Met Glala 2024, slated to take place on May 6. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the 'Baywatch' star confirmed that she’ll be skipping the event, saying, “I don't even know who's going this year. I’m definitely not attending this year because I’m filming, but I think I really do enjoy watching people's creativity during the Met Gala.”

PeeCee looking forward to Zendaya

Priyanka said she was excited to see what the red carpet would bring, but she hadn't really read about who was attending this year when asked whose outfit she was most looking forward to this year. In response, the interviewer stated that Zendaya would undoubtedly be there. Lauding Zendaya, Priyanka stated, “She’s amazing, so we definitely look forward to her.”

Actor's upcoming films 

On the film front, Priyanka is shooting for 'Heads of State'. The action comedy also stars Idris Elba, John Cena, and Jack Quaid, among others, in important roles. The actor also announced 'The Bluff' last month. She also has 'Jee Le Zaraa' in the pipeline.
