Shahrukh Khan’s Pathaan is facing massive backlash across the country from right wing outfits ever since the first song of the film, ‘Besharam Rang’ dropped. Even as ‘Pathaan’ controversy refuses to die down, a large number of protesters tried to disrupt the shooting of Rajkumar Hirani’s 'Dunki' starring Shah Rukh Khan at Bhedaghat near Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. The protesters gathered and showed black and saffron flags as a mark of protest.
The protesters raised slogans and chanted Hanuman Chalisa for hours at the location. Heavy security and heavy police force were deployed in the area to control the protesters.
They alleged that ‘Pathaan’ makers have insulted and shown the saffron colour in an 'indecent and objectionable' way in the film. They also demanded that the shooting of these kinds of movies have to stop near the banks of the river Narmada.
'Pathaan' stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres on January 25.
