PV Sindhu reviews Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’: ‘What a movieee’

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has joined the ranks of those who thoroughly enjoyed filmmaker Siddharth Anand's recent movie, ‘Fighter.’ She expressed her thoughts on the film through her social media platform. In her post, she expressed her admiration for Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone and referred to actor Anil Kapoor as ‘timeless’.

Taking to Instagram Stories, PV Sindhu wrote, ‘What a movieee. Hrithik and Deepika, just uff, Anil sir, simply timeless.’

Deepika, who portrays the character of Minal Rathore in the movie, re-shared PV Sindhu's post and conveyed her love and appreciation.

Numerous celebrities have applauded the film for its compelling and robust content. Anil Kapoor also plays a significant role in the movie.

Fighter Box Office collection

‘Fighter,’ which was released on January 25, made an impressive start at the box office but experienced a decline in collections on its first Monday. The film garnered Rs 8 crore on its fifth day in theatres, accumulating a total domestic collection of Rs 126.50 crore.

Hrithik’s recent interview

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Hrithik Roshan shared that he places significant value on box office collections as a form of validation. He stated, ‘The biggest validation comes from the numbers, box office. That is something I have been a little shy to say in the past but that’s the truth. The biggest validation is box office numbers especially when you are making a film that is aimed at entertaining the audience that gets in the numbers. That’s one.’

Other cast members

‘Fighter’ also stars Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles. The film is billed as a tribute to the valour, sacrifice and patriotism of the Indian armed forces.

Produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, the film marks Hrithik and Deepika's first-ever on-screen collaboration.
