Raj Kundra, businessman and husband of Shilpa Shetty, was arrested last year in case related to alleged creation and distribution of porn films through apps. He took to Twitter on Wednesday and for the first time broke his silence on his arrest in the case. He tweeted that it’s a matter of time as ‘justice will be served.’
September 21 marks one year since Raj walked out from the Arthur Road jail. Along with his tweet, he posted a selfie in which he can be seen wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, and a mask. The picture has ‘if you don't know the whole story...shut up!!!' written on it.
Raj captioned the post, saying, 'One Year Today released from #ArthurRoad Its a matter of time Justice will be served! The truth will be out soon! Thank you well-wishers and a bigger thank you to the trollers you make me stronger (folded hands emoji).' He used words like enquiry, word, media trial and trollers for hashtags.
Netizens commented on the post. One wrote, ‘Stay Strong!! Time will reveal itself no matter what. It just takes time!’ Another one wrote, ‘I don't know what it is but let the truth come out.’
A month ago, Raj Kundra filed a plea before a magistrate’s court in Mumbai seeking that he be discharged from the case. According to news agency PTI, police found no evidence against Raj in the case.
Raj has been keeping a low profile ever since his bail. He married actor Shilpa Shetty in 2009 and the couple is parents to two children -- son Viaan and daughter Samisha.
