Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan's epic reunion in 'Thalaivar170'

Superstar Rajinikanth is set to reunite with Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan onscreen after 33 years in the upcoming movie tentatively titled “Thalaivar170”.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by Lyca, the film marks a nostalgic collaboration between the two legendary actors, who last shared the screen in the 1991 action film ‘Hum’.

Expressing his excitement, Rajinikanth took to social media, sharing a picture with Amitabh Bachchan from the shooting spot.

He wrote, “After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca’s “Thalaivar 170” directed by T.J Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy!”

The movie's shooting commenced in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, featuring a stellar cast that includes Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Rithika Singh, and Dussara Vijayan.

The announcement of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan sharing the screen has sparked immense anticipation among fans, promising a cinematic treat with their iconic collaboration.
