Rajkummar Rao is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, 'Srikanth'. Based on the life of visually impaired entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla, the film chronicles his remarkable journey as he fights against all the odds to make it big in life. Celebrating the unwavering spirit of Bolla, the makers of the film recently organised a cricket match with visually impaired players. For this wonderful initiative, team 'Srikanth' was joined by cricketer Zaheer Khan.
The special cricket match, which saw a Zaheer Khan vs Rajkummar Rao battle, deeply resonated with Srikanth whose passion for cricket was glimpsed in the trailer of the film. The match focused on epitomising inclusivity in sports, showcasing how the sporting spirit trascends barriers and disabilities.
The trailer for the much-anticipated film was released on April 9. It offered a glimpse into Srikanth's unapologetic persuasion of his dreams, as he stood tall in the face of adversity. Sharing the film's trailer, the makers wrote: "Embark on a journey where every moment becomes extraordinary through Srikanth's vision! #SrikanthTrailer Out Now!" Also featuring Jyotika and Alaya F, the film is scheduled to be released in theatres on 10th May.
