Actor Rajpal Yadav accidentally hit a student while riding a scooter during a shoot and allegedly injured him. The incident happened during the shooting of a Hindi movie in the Katra area of Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, ETimes quoted the police as saying.
The student filed a complaint to the Colonelganj police in connection with the incident and alleged misbehaviour by the film's team.
The actor too filed a complaint and alleged that some people including the student tried to disturb the shooting which was being held with the permission of the district administration.
The Station House Officer at Colonelganj Police Station, Ram Mohan Rai, said that the actor was riding an old scooter. He added, ‘The actor lost control and hit the student after its clutch wire broke’. The student had no visible injuries, the police officer said. He continued, ‘However, further investigation is being carried out following which further action will be taken.’
Comedian Rajpal Yadav reportedly began shooting with his team for their forthcoming movie near Laxmi Talkies crossing in the morning. The locals, including students, were curious and gathered at the location to witness the shooting. The team further went towards Bank Road where the actor was shooting a scene in which he was riding a scooter.
