Actor Ram Charan was honoured for his contributions to Indian cinema at the award event organized by NDTV news channel recently. Now, a video from the event has surfaced online in which the 'RRR' actor is seen clicking selfies with the kids of late colonel Santosh Babu, who died in the Galwan Valley clash in 2020.
Maha Vir Chakra awardee Colonel Santosh Babu was also honoured at the event.
Netizens are praising the gesture of the actor and calling him, a 'gentleman' and a 'true legend'.
Ram Charan was presented True Legend –future of Young India Award at the event.
His father and veteran actor Chiranjeevi had shared a post congratulating his son on Twitter and he wrote: ‘Nanna, Absolutely thrilled for you and proud, on winning the True Legend - #FutureOfYoungIndia Award #NDTV Bravo! Way to go, dearest, Ram Charan - Appa and Amma.’
On the work front, Ram Charan was last seen in SS Rajamouli's blockbuster 'RRR'. His forthcoming projects include 'Acharya', co-starring Pooja Hegde and Sonu Sood, and ‘RC 15’ with Kiara Advani.
