Telugu superstar Jr NTR was seen enjoying dinner in Mumbai with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Hrithik Roshan, Karan Johar, and Saba Azad on April 28.
Jr NTR, who has been in Mumbai for a few days reportedly filming for ‘War 2’ with Hrithik, joined the group for the evening. Paparazzi shared several videos on social media showing the stars together.
In one video, Ranbir Kapoor and Jr NTR stepped out of a black SUV, both dressed in black. Rather than entering the restaurant immediately, they waited for Ranbir's wife Alia Bhatt. Alia looked stunning in an off-shoulder white top with yellow tropical prints. Filmmakers Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji followed closely in another car.
Another video shared by the paparazzi account captured lovebirds Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad entering the same restaurant. Hrithik was dressed in a striped grey shirt, dark grey pants, and a brown cap, while Saba looked stylish in a white crop top, pants, and heels, holding his hand as they walked in.
This was the first sighting of Alia Bhatt and Jr NTR together since ‘RRR’. It was also the first time that Karan Johar and Jr NTR were seen together since Karan announced that he acquired the North theatrical distribution rights for Jr NTR's film ‘Devara’.
The stars of Ayan Mukerji's upcoming directorial, ‘War 2’, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, are currently shooting for the high-octane spy thriller in Mumbai. Jr NTR recently arrived in Mumbai from Chennai, and pictures of him and Hrithik shooting an action sequence have also leaked from the sets.
‘War 2’ is part of Aditya Chopra's ambitious YRF Spy Universe, which has already produced hits like the ‘Tiger’ franchise, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘War’. The original ‘War’, released in 2019, was also led by Hrithik and directed by Siddharth Anand.
Ayan Mukerji's last directorial venture, ‘Brahmastra’, was a supernatural fantasy film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. ‘Brahmastra’ was the first installment of a trilogy, and they will begin shooting for the second part, ‘Brahmastra: Part 2 – Dev’, after Ayan completes ‘War 2’. Ranbir Kapoor is currently filming for Nitesh Tiwari's ‘Ramayana’, while Alia Bhatt has completed filming for ‘Jigra’.
