Actor Ranbir Kapoor delivered the biggest hit of his career with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ and now fans are eagerly waiting for him to announce his next venture.

The actor recently collaborated with director Rohit Shetty on an upcoming project, sparking speculation about joining the cop universe. Several photos of him in police uniform were circulated online.

One picture captured him patiently waiting on a chair for a shot. In another, he exuded elegance in a pair of black shades as he strolled toward the set. In a third shot, Ranbir was seen sharing a cheerful fist bump moment with director Rohit Shetty.

Currently, Rohit Shetty is filming ‘Singham Again,’ which features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and more. This marks the fifth installment in Shetty's cop universe following ‘Singham,’ ‘Singham Returns,’ ‘Simmba,’ and ‘Sooryavanshi.’

Rohit Shetty is also gearing up for his web series debut with ‘Indian Police Force,’ featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty. The series will stream on Amazon Prime Video.

During a recent appearance on the chat show ‘Koffee with Karan,’ Shetty candidly discussed the disappointment of his last release, ‘Cirkus,’ starring Ranveer Singh.

He admitted, ‘Rohit Shetty failed as a director,’ and acknowledged that the film faced challenges due to the pandemic.

He further stated, ‘It was made before 'Sooryavanshi' released. Somewhere, as a director, I went wrong with that film. And fortunately, it was a small project where I made a mistake, not a big one. Three days later, I was shooting for my web series.’

Ranbir was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's ‘Animal’, which became the highest grossing film of his career. The 3-hour-21-minute-long film was released in 5 languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. It stands at a worldwide gross collection of ₹887.69 crore.
