Ranveer Singh calls Deepika Padukone his ‘queen’, shuts down separation rumours

Rumours of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone heading for a divorce have been doing the rounds on the internet over the past few weeks. However, the actors have dismissed these reports with their flirtatious exchange on social media. Deepika was named as the official brand ambassador of Cartier, a jewellery and watch brand on Monday. After the company welcomed Deepika as its ‘newest ambassador’, Ranveer reacted to the post and tweeted, ‘My Queen. Doing us proud!’ along with a tricolor, hands joined in prayer and heart emoji.


Recently, he also reacted to Deepika’s look at the recent The Business of Fashion event in Paris and called her ‘queen’.


Deepika was accompanied by a host of celebrities at the event, including Kylie Jenner, Natasha Poonawalla, Charli XCX, Ellie Goulding, Jaden Smith, Jared Leto, Paloma Elsesser and Karlie Kloss. She is the first Indian to feature on the BoF 500 cover.


Earlier, Ranveer had shared pictures in a bright pink outfit on Instagram, and Deepika had called his look ‘edible’ in the comment section.


Ranveer Singh confirmed that he will soon be collaborating with his wife for a new film at FICCI FRAMES fast track 2022. He said, ‘I have nothing but the utmost respect for her and I admire her a lot. I have learnt a lot from her in my personal life too. There is a sweet surprise for everyone. You guys will see us together very soon. She is one of the best things that has happened to me and am so grateful for her in my life. Touchwood, we met and started dating in 2012, so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika.’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in December 2018.
