Actor Ranveer Singh shared a gratitude note on his Instagram Stories following his 39th birthday celebration. He thanked everyone for their birthday wishes and expressed gratitude as he and his wife, actor Deepika Padukone, prepare to welcome their first child soon.

‘Thank you all for the birthday messages. I’ll be replying to each of you personally. Life begins anew this year. Heading into ‘Act Two’ with a heart full of gratitude. Best wishes and all my love, Ranveer,’ he wrote.

Ranveer-Deepika to welcome 1st child in September

Earlier this year, Ranveer and Deepika announced their pregnancy. However, weeks later, Deepika faced trolling when she went out to cast her vote, with some netizens calling her baby bump ‘fake’. On May 20th, Deepika was seen arriving to vote in the fifth phase of Mumbai's Lok Sabha Election 2024, where she was subjected to negative comments from some users about her baby bump.

Later, Ranveer Singh indirectly criticised trolls. He posted a picture of Deepika on his Instagram stories with the caption, ‘Buri nazar wale tera moonh kala’ and an evil-eye emoji.

Since then, Ranveer has been frequently seen showing support for his pregnant wife. Recently, he posted a photo of Deepika’s baby bump on his Instagram stories. In the blurred photo, Deepika’s face wasn’t visible, but she was posing in a black body-hugging outfit, clearly displaying her baby bump.

Ranveer Singh’s professional front

On the professional front, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will soon appear together in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again,’ currently in production. Additionally, Ranveer has the highly anticipated ‘Don 3’ lined up, directed by Farhan Akhtar and co-starring Kiara Advani. Ranveer is expected to start shooting for ‘Don 3’ later this year, with the film slated for a 2025 release.
