Actor Raveena Tandon thanked people for supporting her after she and her driver were attacked in a road rage incident outside her Mumbai home. She also shared the lesson she learned from the incident.
Raveena wrote on her Instagram story, ‘Thank you for the overwhelming love, belief, and support. Moral of the story? Get dashcams and CCTVs now! (sic).’
Recently, a video circulated on social media, showing a woman alleging that Raveena Tandon's car had hit her and that both the actor and her driver had assaulted her. However, a later-released CCTV clip contradicted this claim, suggesting that the woman was not hit by Raveena's car.
According to an HT City report, Tandon has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the incident. The police have also refuted the woman's allegation that Raveena and her driver were intoxicated.
Earlier, DCP Raj Tilak Roshan told India Today that no case was registered against Raveena. He said, ‘Raveena (Tandon) was coming home. Her car was reversing. The lady who walked past got mad at her driver and said drive carefully. The car did not touch the lady, but a verbal spat ensued. Raveena got out and got into an argument. We don't have written complaints from either party, so there is no case.’
Following the incident, Kangana Ranaut came out in support of Raveena Tandon. She wrote on her Instagram story, ‘What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming. Had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage outbursts. Those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour.’
Raveena was last seen in the film 'Patna Shuklla'. She is now looking forward to the upcoming comedy film 'Welcome to the Jungle', also starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role.
