Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal to tie the knot in Mumbai by end of September, say reports

It's finally happening! Actors Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s wedding is just around the corner. According to news agency ANI, the much-adored couple is set to tie the knot by the end of September. The celebrations will reportedly begin in Delhi and then move to Mumbai in the first week of October. Their wedding will be an intimate affair with close friends and family in attendance.                                                                                                                                 

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been dating each other for seven years now. They met in 2012 during the shooting of their movie ‘Fukrey’ and fell in love. Ali finally proposed to Richa in 2019, and the couple was to tie the knot in 2020. However, their wedding was delayed due to the pandemic. Richa and Ali are also set to reunite onscreen for the third installment in the franchise - ‘Fukrey 3’. The film is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment.                                                                                               

As reported earlier, Ali and Richa will reportedly be holding five functions for their grand wedding, which includes a sangeet ceremony, a wedding, and not one but three receptions. Ahead of their wedding, the couple will wrap up shooting, they are expected to keep themselves free after September 25, 2022.                                                                                                 

Earlier, Richa confirmed that the wedding is happening. She told a news website, 'I think shaadi ho jaegi iss saal. Kar lenge kisi tarah se (We will get married this year, will marry somehow). We’re very excited about getting married but we are just worried about COVID and want to be responsible,' she said.
