More about Richa and Ali Fazal
Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have achieved significant milestones in their careers, supporting each other as their biggest cheerleaders through thick and thin. In 2022, the couple married in an intimate ceremony in Delhi. In an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Richa revisited her wedding day and candidly discussed her interfaith marriage with her ‘Fukrey’ co-star.
Richa shared, ‘No one cares about people and what they think. And I come from a very liberal, lovely family. Ali comes from a very liberal progressive family. We are both middle-class people. And we had a fantastic time. No one put pressure on us. And if they did, we didn’t take any pressure.’
She added, ‘We got married under the special marriage act, the family court is right around the corner. And it was super peaceful. And I don’t think it’s out of the ordinary. It happens in society, which is why there is a very big act for it. Of course, I feel like media really makes these kinds of things, it’s actually terrible and is very corrosive for society.’
