Karan Johar's romantic comedy 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' is all set to release in cinemas on July 28. Ahead of its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has issued the film a U/A certificate, but they have recommended certain cuts and changes in the film's dialogues.

According to Etimes, three dialogues have been completely chopped off from the film, including a reference to Lok Sabha and mention of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, and one from a lingerie shop scene that was deemed to be ‘vulgar’ and ‘degrading to women.’

An alteration has also been made to the Rabindranath Tagore scene, that grabbed everyone's attention in the trailer.

The film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
