Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar’ has left behind- ‘Jawan’ which collected Rs 75 Crore on its first day to become the biggest opener of 2023. It has also beaten Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ which saw an opening day collection of Rs 63.8 crore. Prabhas starrer is expected to continue breaking records with the streak of dominance on Day 2 as the film has already earned Rs 20 crore in advance booking.

The film marks a big comeback for Action king Prabhas after his ‘Adipurush’ failed to impress box office and received poor reviews. For the film’s director Prashanth Neel who is known for his action packed- KGF, even though it’s not as good as his previous films but a good start.
