Salman Khan begins shooting for 'Sikandar', shares BTS pic from film's set

Salman Khan has begun shooting for his much-anticipated film 'Sikandar'. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film has been touted as a visual spectacle slated to feature the biggest aerial action sequences. On Wednesday, Salman treated fans with a picture from the film's sets, which went on floors in Mumbai. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, the film has been bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala. 

Salman begins shooting for Siknadar

Salman took to X to share the first picture from the shooting. The team reconfirmed an Eid 2025 release for this action-packed entertainer. "Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar. Directed by @ARMurugadoss (sic).”

A.R. Murugadoss also shared the same pic on X and captioned, "A glimpse straight from the sets of Sikandar/ Excited to be here with you @BeingSalmanKhan sir! Looking forward to great times ahead #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar #ARMSikandarEid2025".

Salman Khan announced the film in March on the occasion of Eid. The forthcoming film will see Salman reunite with Nadiadwala after their 2014 Eid Blockbuster, ‘Kick’, while Khan and Rashmika will feature together for the first time. The action entertainer has locked an Eid 2025 weekend release.
