Salman Khan pays tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, sings ‘Lag Jaa Gale’ in her memory

Singing legend Lata Mangeshkar, who enthralled millions with her divine voice for eight decades, passed away at 92 on February 6, 2022.

As the nation gave an emotional farewell to Lata Mangeshkar, many celebrities have been pouring in heartfelt tributes to the legendary singer, sharing their fondest moments with her.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan too paid homage to the singer in his own way. The actor took to Instagram and sang one of the most iconic songs of Lata Ji, ‘Lag Jaa Gale’. Salman wrote, ‘Never has been, never will be any1 like u Lataji.'

Lata Mangeshkar was cremated with full state honours at Shivaji Park. Several prominent personalities including PM Narendra Modi, Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar and many others paid their last respects to Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. She was admitted to Breach Candy hospital on January 8 after being diagnosed with Covid-19 and pneumonia.
