Mumbai Traffic Police received a bizarre WhatsApp message demanding ₹5 crore from Salman Khan, threatening that his fate would be worse than that of recently murdered NCP leader Baba Siddiqui if he didn’t pay up.
However, police later dismissed the message as a mere ‘prank.’
According to the Mumbai Police, the sender warned, ‘Don’t take this lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his feud with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must pay ₹5 crore.’ They added, ‘If the money isn’t given, Salman Khan’s situation will be worse than Baba Siddiqui’s.’
An investigation into the matter has been initiated.
The Mumbai Police are on the hunt for the sender of a threatening WhatsApp message aimed at Salman Khan. The Bollywood superstar has been under fire with death threats for months now, prompting an increase in his security—especially after the shocking assassination of former NCP leader Baba Siddique.
Siddique was brutally shot on October 12 by three assailants, with four arrests made so far while others remain on the run. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang's involvement in Siddique's murder is currently being investigated.
Earlier this April, things got really intense when two guys on a bike fired shots outside Salman’s Bandra home. The police believe these shooters were linked to Bishnoi’s gang, who had allegedly plotted to eliminate the actor. It seems the Bishnoi gang has been scheming an even bigger attack on Salman, raising serious concerns for his safety!
