Two suspects have been arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch for their alleged role in the shooting incident outside Salman Khan's residence in Bandra West. The Mumbai Police have confirmed that the two individuals were apprehended in Bhuj, Gujarat, late on April 15 night.

Authorities stated the suspects will be brought to Mumbai for further investigation.

‘Both the accused, who fled Mumbai after the firing, have been arrested from Gujarat’s Bhuj,’ officials told news agency ANI.

The two suspects, who allegedly fired shots outside Salman's house, had reportedly rented a house in Panvel, where the actor has a farmhouse. They fired four rounds at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra around 5 am on April 14 and fled.

After the incident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde spoke with Salman over the phone about the incident. Shinde also talked with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and recommended enhancing the actor's security.

Meanwhile, Salman was seen leaving Galaxy Apartments for the first time on April 15 afternoon, surrounded by police vans.

Arbaaz Khan also commented on the incident, stating the family was shocked.

In a statement, Arbaaz said, ‘The recent incident of firing by two unidentified people on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident. Unfortunately, some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media, saying it is all publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected. This is not true and should not be taken seriously.’

‘No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding the incident to the media. At this time, the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support,’ he added.

Salman Khan reportedly received online threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in March and November last year.
