Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ is finally in cinemas amid high anticipation. The movie is earning widespread acclaim and some fans are even speculating that the actor might clinch a National Award for his remarkable portrayal of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw.
At a recent event, Sam Manekshaw's daughter, Maya, shared her sentiments about Vicky's film, mentioning that it moved her to tears.
Maya told The Indian Express, ‘They have made the film to make the country proud of whatever it was. But, the time that I tear up, every time, I’ve seen the film twice now and I teared up both times, is the last two seconds of the film when you turn to the audience and you’re smiling. That just kills me every time.’
‘Sam Bahadur’ is directed by Meghna Gulzar of ‘Raazi’ fame. The movie also features performances from Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in significant roles.
