Sania Mirza’s birthday: Farah Khan shares an endearing post for BFF; says ‘may you always be happy’

Former Indian tennis player Sania Mirza turned a year older on November 15. On her special day, her best friend, choreographer-director Farah Khan dropped a series of pictures with her and penned a sweet note.

‘Happy birthday my dearest @mirzasaniar may you always be happy, surrounded by friends n all who love you.. coz you deserve this and more,’ she wrote.

The pictures posted by Farah Khan were clicked at a fancy restaurant. The first one shows Sania hugging Farah.

In the next two pictures, they are joined by their friend and singer Ananya Birla.

As soon as Farah shared the post, Ananya Birla commented, ‘Come bacckkkk,’ along with several red heart emojis.

Meanwhile, one fan wrote, ‘Lovely picture,’ while many others dropped heart emojis and wished Sania Mirza a happy birthday.

For the occasion, Sania is dressed in a black top layered with a printed black-and-white jacket, while Farah looks pretty in a multi-colored striped top.

Sania and Farah have been best friends for many years. Fans witnessed their camaraderie as they appeared together on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ in 2017. Farah revealed that their friendship began when she invited Sania to be a guest on her talk show, ‘Tere Mere Beech Mein’. She added that their connection was instant and that every time Sania would come to Mumbai, they would meet up.

‘We are not convenience ka friendship because we don’t have anything to do with each other’s professions,’ she said.

FARAH KHAN’S WORK FRONT

Farah Khan will soon make a special appearance in ‘Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan’. The comedy-drama, written and directed by Aatish Kapadia, stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, Jamnadas Majethia in lead roles.

It is the fifth overall installment of the ‘Khichdi’ franchise and a direct sequel to the 2010 film ‘Khichdi: The Movie’.
