Superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently made a discreet entrance at ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand’s birthday bash in Mumbai. The celebration took place at a restaurant in BKC around midnight on July 31, where SRK arrived in his luxurious Rolls Royce. Accompanied by his manager, Pooja Dadlani, the superstar avoided the limelight by entering through the kitchen, bypassing the paparazzi stationed outside.
Dressed casually yet stylishly in a black t-shirt, dark blue jacket, and blue jeans, Shah Rukh Khan kept a low profile, wearing dark sunglasses despite the late hour and sporting a ponytail. His quiet entry, without acknowledging the waiting photographers, has sparked further intrigue amid ongoing rumours about his eye surgery.
In recent weeks, reports have circulated about SRK potentially undergoing eye surgery abroad. However, his manager and team have not confirmed these rumours.
A source close to the actor said, ‘There have been reports of SRK flying to the US for eye surgery. But sources close to the actor have not confirmed any such development so far. There has been no response from his PR team regarding the surgery.’
Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance at Siddharth Anand’s bash follows shortly after he paid his last respects to Menaka Irani, the mother of his close friend Farah Khan, who passed away on July 27. The visibly upset actor was seen at Farah’s residence with his wife, Gauri Khan, offering condolences to the grieving family. SRK and Farah share a long-standing friendship that began in 1994 during the making of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.
Professionally, 2023 was a triumphant year for Shah Rukh Khan, who delivered three consecutive blockbusters — Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. Jawan, released in September, shattered records, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film ever with a staggering Rs 643 crore nett collection in India across all languages.
Looking ahead, SRK is set to star in Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film The King, alongside his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan. Although the movie has yet to be officially announced, anticipation is already building around this new project.
