In some good news for the fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, the actor who was admitted to a private hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering from a heat stroke, was discharged on Thursday evening.
Fans across the country were praying for SRK's quick recovery and it seems their prayers have been accepted. The superstar was discharged from Ahmedabad's private hospital. Accompanied by his wife, the actor reached Mumbai in the evening.
A local police officer confirmed the update. “Khan has been discharged from the hospital this evening. He left for the airport from the hospital,” said Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat.
The actor was spotted at Mumbai airport with his wife Gauri Khan. SRK's children Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan were also spotted at Mumbai airport. Fans were relieved to hear that Khan has recovered.
Earlier in the day, Shah Rukh Khan's manager Pooja Dadlani informed the fans that the superstar was doing well. She took to Instagram and X to post a thank you note for the fans who sent love and wishes to the actor.
The actor was admitted to the multi-speciality K D Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Reports said that the actor suffered from severe dehydration after suffering a heat stroke, however, the private hospital did not issue any statement on Khan's health condition. The actor was in Ahmedabad on Tuesday to attend an IPL match at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Reports suggest that it was after the match that the actor felt sick.
KKR entered their fourth IPL final with a thumping eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1 on Tuesday. KKR co-owner and SRK’s close friend Juhi Chawla earlier confirmed that the actor will cheer on the team in the finals. “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night, but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team as we play the finals,” she said. KKR will play the final in Chennai on Sunday.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will soon begin the filming of ‘King’, where he will share the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan. The film will also mark Suhana’s big-screen debut. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan also has ‘Pathaan 2’ in the pipeline, which is expected to go on the floors by the end of 2024.
