Shah Rukh Khan equates 'Pathaan' to Wayne Rooney, strikes the iconic DDLJ pose with him

Superstar Shah Rukh joined legendary footballer Wayne Rooney to discuss football and his upcoming film ‘Pathaan’ ahead of the FIFA World Cup Final match between Argentina and France. During their conversation, Rooney asked King Khan about his character in 'Pathaan' and if he's like anyone in football.

Shah Rukh answered, 'I'm not saying this because you're here. Honestly, I'll tell you who Pathaan is.  Pathaan is the guy you call last minute when you're all tied up and you can't find a solution.

He added that if that for him if Pathaan is to be equated to any footballer in the world, before or after or later, it will always be Rooney as he is a tough guy.

Shah Rukh Khan and Wayne Rooney also struck the iconic pose from King Khan’s iconic film ‘Diwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge’.

SRK’s ‘Pathaan’ co-star Deepika Padukone unveiled the FIFA World Cup trophy alongside Iker Casillas, before the final match. Pictures of the actor and the former Spanish goalkeeper from the field are going viral on the internet and fans cannot stop praising her.

Actor-dancer Nora Fatehi gave an electrifying live performance at the closing ceremony of FIFA World Cup 2022. She joined Balqees, Rahma Riad and Manal to perform their song, ‘Light The Sky’.

Mammootty and Mohanlal were among many Indian actors who witnessed the FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France in Qatar.
