Shah Rukh Khan prepared for two years for his drastic transformation, reveals trainer

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to the big screen after a gap of four years. King Khan stirred the internet with his shirtless picture showing him in an incredibly chiseled physique months before the film's release. The transformation left the fans awestruck, and it fuelled their anticipation for the film. Recently, SRK's trainer revealed details of his two year long preparation for the upcoming film.

In an interview with The Indian Express, celebrity trainer Prashant Subhash disclosed how Shah Rukh Khan attained his chiseled figure for 'Pathaan'.

Prashant said that Shah Rukh's physique in the film was significantly different, and he began lifting big objects frequently. He initially performed a lot of circuit training and cardio exercises, but now he incorporates more strength training, which has improved his appearance and made him appear bigger. He required two years to develop the toned physique we see on screen. He now has an entirely different shape and appearance.

The trainer also disclosed that SRK adhered to a stringent food plan that comprised lentils, eggs, and meat. He said that despite the actor getting injured during his training session, he managed to bounce back.

Apart from 'Pathaan', SRK will appear in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' alongside Taapsee Pannu and in 'Jawan' with Nayanthara.
