Shah Rukh Khan says he is perfect to play a 'Bond baddie' but not James Bond at a Dubai event

At the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai, titled 'The Making Of A Star' actor Shah Rukh Khan joked that he is not a legend. When asked about his name, SRK replied: "I am Bond, James Bond".

Later, the actor was also asked if he would like to play James Bond, to which he answered in his statement style that he really wants to, but he thinks that he is too short to play James Bond but is brown enough to play a 'Bond baddie'.

Shah Rukh on rejecting Slumdog Millionaire

When talking about his 33-year acting career and fame, Shah Rukh Khan discussed why he hasn't worked in Hollywood. He mentioned that although he knows people there, he hasn't received good offers. He was offered a role in "Slumdog Millionaire," but he turned it down because he thought the character was too negative.

Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, "Dunki," premiered in December 2023. Prior to that, he starred in consecutive action-packed blockbusters "Pathaan" and "Jawaan," both major hits of 2023.
