Shah Rukh Khan sends love to Kolkata artist who made stunning 30-ft marble portrait of him

Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ has set the box office on fire and has broken the record for the biggest-ever opening in the history of Hindi cinema by grossing Rs 74 crore across all languages in India on day one.

Amid the craze for Jawan, an artist from Kolkata created 30-feet portrait of Shah Rukh using white marble stone chips. He took to Instagram to share a video of the artwork created on the roof of a building.

‘Tribute to the King Khan @iamsrk, making of the portrait with white marble stone chips. Size approximately 30ft. Anyway, this comes from the core of my heart, the love I have for this Man is beyond the size of this art. I wish he could see this! Made this big picture art a month back, since then waited for the right time to post it. I think now was the time. Can’t wait for #Jawan,’ Banerjee posted as the caption.

Reacting to his post, King Khan wrote, ‘Wow thank you for expressing your love with so much effort… Love u! This is amazing!!!’

Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, portraying the protagonist’s love interest and nemesis, respectively.

The action thriller also stars Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani in pivotal roles. Deepika Padukone has a special appearance in the film.
