Ahead of the trailer release of 'Shamshera' on June 24, Sanjay Dutt unveiled the first look poster of his character. The actor introduced himself as Daroga Shudh Singh, who is seen dressed in a police uniform with a huge tikka applied on his forehead, and holding a whip. The poster has been shared in three languages - Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

On Wednesday, the teaser of 'Shamshera' was released in which Sanjay Dutt is seen at loggerheads with Ranbir Kapoor, who plays a dacoit.

'Shamshera' is Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor's first film together. Ranbir had portrayed the role of Sanjay Dutt in the latter's biopic, titled 'Sanju.'

Vaani Kapoor too shared the first look poster of her character Sona, describing her as relentless and with a heart of gold.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, it also stars Vaani Kapoor in a pivotal role. 'Shamshera' will release in theatres on July 22, which will mark the 50th year of Yash Raj Films, the production house backing the film.
