Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has addressed divorce rumours with Indian tennis star Sania Mirza in a recent interview. He dismissed all speculations about them parting ways and urged those spreading rumours to show him a couple from around the globe who didn't have arguments.
He further said that they belong to different countries and have their own work commitments.
‘When they [Sania and Izhan] went to perform Umrah I had commitments here and when I took a break and went to Dubai to spend time with Izhan, she [Sania] had commitments in IPL,’ told Malik on Geo News.
‘Everybody needs to understand we belong to different countries and have our own commitments,’ he emphasised.
He explained that they don't pay much heed to the news about them and hence neither of them released a statement.
Sania Mirza married Shoaib Malik in 2010 and they have a son named Izhaan. Divorce rumours started doing the rounds after Sania shared some cryptic posts on Instagram talking about separation.
