Rohit Godara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has reportedly taken responsibility for the incident. However, an official confirmation is awaited. A shooting incident was reported outside AP Dhillon's house in Canada's Vancouver on Sunday. A viral video on X purportedly shows a masked man firing shots outside the singer’s house in the Victoria Island area. As per the messages circulating online, the Bishnoi-Godara gang as per messages circulating on social media claimed that it carried out shootings in two locations in Canada - Victoria Island and Woodbridge, Toronto.
Pointing at the rapper's connection with Salman Khan, the gangsters warned the singer to “stay within his limits or he would meet a dog's death". The warning comes weeks after the singer released his new music video 'Old Money' feat. Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.
Bishnoi gang has been linked to many high-profile crimes, including the death of Sidhu Moosewala in 2022. The gang has also issued threats to Salman.
