Shraddha Kapoor pays tribute to her 'aaji' Lata Mangeshkar in a heartfelt post

In an emotional post, Shraddha Kapoor pays tribute to Lata Mangeshkar. She took to Instagram to share a note, remembering her 'aaji'.

The actor shared carousel pictures and wrote,

"I will forever cherish the honour of having shared precious moments with you. Your hand on my head, your warm gaze, your loving words of encouragement. Thank you for your simplicity, divinity, excellence and grace. Truly The Greatest of all time! I (heart emoji) You Lata Aaji (sic)."

The first picture is from Shraddha's childhood days in which she is sharing a happy moment with Lata 'aaji'. The rest of the black and white images are from Mangeshkar's young days.

Shraddha Kapoor adored Lata Mangeshkar as they shared a special bond. In an interview, the 'Stree' actor revealed that Lata Mangeshkar's first cousin, Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure, was her maternal grandfather.

Lata Mangeshkar at 92 on Sunday (Feb 6). She was cremated with full state honours at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
