'Singham Again': Arjun Kapoor enters Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe as 'shaitaan', promises 'mayhem'

After Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor is all set to join Rohit Shetty's esteemed Cop Universe. Kapoor will play the antagonist in 'Singham Again,' headlined by Ajay Devgn. On Wednesday, the makers of the celebrated franchise took to Instagram to debut Arjun's never-seen-before deadly avatar. 

Rohit Shetty introduces 'Singham Ka Villain' 

Rohit Shetty took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to drop the first glimpse of Arjun Kapoor as the villain in 'Singham 3'. Sharing the photos, Rohit wrote, “Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai... Lekin ab jo aayega, wo shaitaan hai! CAN I SAY—INTRODUCING ARJUN KAPOOR?”

Arjun also shared the photos and wrote, “Singham ka villain! Feeling on top of the world being a part of hit-machine Rohit Shetty sir’s cop universe! I promise you there will be mayhem in #SinghamAgain.” Ranveer shared the photos with the caption, “MY BABA BADDEST!!! ️.” 

In the first look, a bloodied Arjun Kapoor can be seen laughing out loud as he poses with a cleaver covered in blood. In another photo, he is seen facing Ranveer Singh, as both appear to be gearing up for a deadly battle. 

About 'Singham Again' 

Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' is the fifth instalment in the franchise and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). 'Singham Again' was announced in September 2017 under the working title 'Singham 3'. The official title was announced in December 2022. ‘Singham Again’ will be the latest addition to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, which will see the return of Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham.

Earlier, Shetty had introduced Lady Singham, played by Deepika Padukone. Tiger Shroff, who also makes his cop universe debut with 'Singham Again', plays ACP Satya in the upcoming film. Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh as Simmba are also expected to make a cameo in the film.
