Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are now officially married. The pair tied the knot under the Special Marriage Act at Sinha's Bandra home, with only family and close friends in attendance. The couple has now shared a joint post on Instagram to offer the first glimpse into their intimate ceremony, along with a heartfelt note. In their post, the newlyweds also revealed that they tied the knot exactly seven years after they began dating.

Sharing the first pictures from their wedding ceremony, the couple captioned, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever."

For the big day, Sonakshi opted for an ivory-coloured embroidered saree, while Iqbal perfectly complemented her in a white sherwani. The 'Dabangg' actor teamed her ensemble with elegant Kundan jewellery and kept her makeup subtle, rounding off the look with a gajra-laden bun.

Following their nuptials, Sonakshi and Zaheer will host a star-studded reception for their industry friends and colleagues at Mumbai's Bastian restaurant. According to DJ Ganesh, who is slated to perform at the event, the couple will host 1000 guests at their Bollywood music-themed reception. Salman Khan, Honey Singh, and 'Heeramandi' cast among others are expected to grace the event.
