Sonakshi Sinha’s brother Luv Sinha reacts to not attending her wedding: 'Please give it a day or two'

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on Sunday, June 23, after seven years of dating. The close-knit wedding was attended by her family and industry colleagues, while Bollywood star arrived to bless the couple at the reception. However, her brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha's noticeable absence from the festivities has raised many eyeballs, with many speculating a possible friction among the siblings due to the actor's decision to marry Zaheer. Luv has now finally broken his silence on the matter. 

Sonakshi's brother on not attending her wedding 

While Sonakshi's brothers' absence was questioned by many, a source told Hindustan Times, “Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding and were naturally elated about the day. However, her brothers didn’t come to the wedding or the reception. The photographers didn’t spot the two entering the venue till the very end, which everyone found weird.” When the publication approached Luv for a comment on the same, he said, “Please give it a day or two. I’ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking." 

Earlier, Luv had reacted to the reports of Sonakshi's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal in a conversation with ETimes. He said, “I’m out of Mumbai at the moment, and if it’s regarding the news published, I have no comment or involvement in the matter." 

Shatrughan Sinha reacts to Sonakshi's wedding 

Meanwhile, Shatrughan Sinha recently opened up about his daughter's wedding. He said that every father waits for this moment when his daughter is given to her chosen groom. Further extending his wishes and blessings, he said, “My daughter looks most happy with Zaheer. Unki jodi salamat rahe (May their union stay strong forever)." He added, “44 years ago, Shatrughan Sinha married a very successful, very beautiful, very talented girl of his choice, Poonam Sinha. Now it is Sonakshi’s turn to marry the boy of her choice.”
