Sonam Kapoor calls Nancy Tyagi’s Cannes 2024 outfit ‘the best’, requests her to 'make me something'

Many Indian influencers are currently having a moment at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. Among those who managed to make a statement is Nancy Tyagi. Following her historical debut at Cannes, Nancy Tyagi has found a fangirl in Sonam Kapoor. The influencer/YouTuber, who rose to fame by recreating Bollywood actors' outfits, took the fashion world by storm with her Fim Festival appearance, debuting two tantalizing looks. 

Nancy's Saree Soiree at Cannes

After impressing the internet with her iconic debut in a voluminous ruffled gown at Cannes 2024, Nancy unveiled a new saree look which left everyone gasping for air. Stitched and designed by Nancy Herself, the stylish saree with a veil offered a perfect blend of contemporary fashion with a modern twist. 

Nancy, on Monday, took to Instagram to post a video, in which she shared insights into her fashion journey at the Cannes Film Festival 2024, revealing the intricate details behind her second outfit.

"My second outfit from the Cannes Film Festival, which I wore at a special event, is another creation made entirely by me. This ensemble is a saree featuring intricate hand embroidery. Every piece was meticulously crafted and assembled by me," read the caption of her post.

Sonam Kapoor lauds Nancy Tyagi 

Picking her self-made outfit over Bollywood A-listers such as Aishwarya Rai and Kiara Advani's recent Cannes 2024 looks, Sonam complimented Nancy by saying, “Best outfit in Cannes.” She also requested Nancy to design an outfit for her, adding, "Make me something @nancytyagi__."

The influencer responded to the 'Neerja' actor’s request and wrote: “Thank you so much, @sonamkapoor. It would be amazing to create something special for you one day.”
