Actor Sonam Kapoor celebrated Karwa Chauth at her Mumbai home along with family and friends on October 13. The actor, who recently gave birth to her first child with husband Anand Ahuja, shared a glimpse of the celebrations on Instagram stories.

Sonam shared her Karwa Chauth look and mentioned that her husband-businessman Anand Ahuja 'is not a fan of Karava Chauth' but they both believe that festivals and traditions are great reasons for family and friends to come together. She also appreciated mother Sunita Kapoor's Karwa Chauth bash.

'My Husband isn’t a fan of Karava Chauth as he thinks fasting should only be intermittent so I’ve never kept it! But both of us are big believers that festivals and traditions are a great reason for family and friends to come together . I love that my mom loves celebrating it and I love being a part of it and dressing up. @kapoor.sunita you always throw the best dos! Your energy and generosity is legendary and I hope to follow the same path! Happy KC everyone!,' she wrote.

The post of the actor garnered immense love. Anand Ahuja was quick to react to her post, and commented 'you look great! intermittent is a powerful anti-inflammatory and recovery tool  .. and yea, it was so nice to see Mom’s famous KC celebration! So special!! @kapoor.sunita'.

Sunita Kapoor and Anil Kapoor also commented on the post with red heart emojis.

In the pictures, the actor looks elegant in her traditional green and pink lehenga.

On the work front, the actor was last seen in the 2019 film 'The Zoya Factor', co-starring Dulquer Salmaan and Angad Bedi. She will next feature in Shome Makhija's film 'Blind'.
