Sonam Kapoor shares a photo and video of ‘darling boy’ Vayu as he turns 6 months old

Actor Sonam Kapoor has penned a beautiful note for her son Vayu as he turns 6 months old. Taking to Instagram, she shared a picture with the little one and also an adorable video in which he seen playing around at home.

In her note, Sonam called him her 'biggest blessing'. She wrote, ‘6 months of my Vayu. The best job in the world.. my biggest blessing.. love you my darling boy.. your papa and me couldn’t have asked for more. #6monthsold #6monthspostpartum #vayusparents #everydayphenomenal.’

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed their first child, a baby boy Vayu, on August 20, 2022 and since then, they have been juggling between their work commitments and their parental duties.

Sonam had revealed the meaning of her son Vayu's name in September 2022.

In a long note, she wrote, ‘In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives... In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength... In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving and eternally ours, we seek blessings for our son, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja. ............... In Hindu scriptures Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the deity of breath, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem and Madhav and He is the incredibly powerful lord of wind. Praana is Vayu, a guiding force of life and intelligence in the universe. All the deity's of Praana, Indra, Shiva and Kali relate to Vayu. He can breathe life into beings as easily as he can destroy evil. Vayu is said to be heroic, brave and mesmerisingly beautiful. Thank you for your continued wishes and blessings for Vayu and his family (sic).’

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will next be seen in ‘Blind’.
