Sonam Kapoor shares pictures from son Vayu's 1st birthday celebration: 'Lovely puja & lunch with family'

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's son Vayu turned one on August 20. A day later, Sonam shared a few pictures from the little one's birthday bash at their home in Delhi.

The couple hosted a puja followed by a family lunch. Sonam's parents Anil Kapoor and Sunita joined Anand Ahuja's family members in the celebrations.

Sharing the pictures, Sonam wrote, 'Our Vayu turned 1 yesterday. We did a lovely puja and lunch with the family. Thank you so much to the universe for giving us our blessing. #everydayphenomenal #vayusparents Special thanks to @ranipinklove for making a beautiful themed puja and lunch .. love you. Also thank you to @kavitasinghinteriors for the beautiful mandir she’s given us.'

Sonam shared a candid photo of herself laughing and playing with Vayu on the happy occasion. Sonam looked beautiful in a salwar suit.

She also gave a glimpse of their temple at home and the colourful table setting for Vayu's birthday lunch. The house was fully decked up with many colourful paper cranes also seen hanging from the ceiling along with a huge set up of birthday balloons for Vayu.

Earlier, Anand Ahuja also shared Vayu's photos and wrote, 'Out my face; I ain’t a Rookie! #VayusParents #SophomoreSeason.' 

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja got married in 2018 after almost two years of dating. Sonam announced the pregnancy in March 2022.

Sonam was last seen in Jio Cinema's thriller 'Blind'.
