Actor Sonam Kapoor has been invited by the UK Prime Minister for his forthcoming reception on the occasion of UK-India Week 2023.
The actor, who now resides in London with her husband Anand Ahuja and son Vayu, will represent India at the event.
The reception will be held at the PM's official residence on 10 Downing Street. This is a part of India Global Forum's flagship event UK-India Week, which is being held from June 26 to June 30.
Sonam will attend the reception on June 28 and will talk about India and its cultural influence across the globe.
UK-India Week 2023 is the 5th iteration of IGF’s flagship event, a weeklong programme that seeks to honour and strengthen the longstanding partnership between these two countries by providing a platform to spotlight crucial topics, including politics, trade, business, sustainability, inclusion, and innovation.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will next be seen in 'Blind'. The film will directly have an OTT release on JioCinema on July 7. The Shoma Makhija directorial also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey.
