Days after being acquitted in the Jiah Khan suicide case, actor Sooraj Pancholi visited Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in New Delhi to seek blessings. He posted pictures from his visit on Instagram on Wednesday and added a folded hands emoji.
In the pictures, he was seen wearing a blue T-shirt and denim. The actor was clicked as he folded his hands in prayers.
Sooraj had penned a thank-you note for all those who always ‘supported and believed’ in him after being given a clean chit in the Jiah Khan death case by a special court.
‘Thank you to all those who have always supported and believed in me, only I know how I have lasted through all these years of suffering and pain. Your unconditional love prayers and duas have been my only strength...I could not have survived without you,’ he wrote.
Jiah Khan, who featured in films like ‘Nishabd’ and ‘Housefull’, was found dead at her Juhu home in Mumbai on June 3, 2013. Police had arrested Sooraj Pancholi, who was allegedly in a relationship with her, on the basis of a six-page letter, purportedly written by Jiah, and booked him for abetment to suicide.
