Actor Suniel Shetty visited Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi on September 22. He was seen offering prayers with full rituals and also performed Jal Abhishek.
Suniel Shetty was seen with sandalwood paste smeared on his forehead, a rudraksha garland around his neck and angavastra wrapped around him, which he had received as ‘prasad’.
After the darshan, he posed for selfies with the temple staff. A crowd had gathered just to catch a glimpse of the star.
Speaking with India Today, Sunil Shetty said that he feels like coming to Kashi again and again. He said, ‘I had a very good darshan and puja of Baba Kashi Vishwanath and I am feeling very good. I have been to Varanasi before, but I have come to Kashi Vishwanath Temple for the first time and I will try to visit often.’
On the work front, Suniel Shetty will next be seen in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’. The third film in the 'Welcome' franchise is slated for release on Christmas 2024. The star-studded cast of the film includes Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, apart from Suniel Shetty in pivotal roles.
